“ Maybe it's rose-tinted goggles but out of all the restaurants I can remember from my time staying in Mackay for over 6 years, Tim's Kitchen is always the one I remember the most fondly. The food was so mouthwatering that even when I could buy and cook my own food, I still remember driving here because of how good my experience was. The prices were affordable, the food was all fresh, and the staff was willing to listen and follow-through with any and all of the requests I asked regarding food - which is always stellar when it comes to service. The food is made both fast and hot. The atmosphere of the store is warm and cozy with the moody interior and decorations. Most of the times I come here were by myself so take this with a grain of salt, but when I do come with others, it's like nothing has changed when it comes to how much I enjoy my time. How about their food delivery services like DoorDash, Menulog and Uber Eats? Well although I've only ordered from them 3 times, all of the special requests I asked for came as I asked. Even though I live in Townsville now, whenever I get the chance to visit my hometown, I always pay a visit to this place and no matter how much time passes, I'm never disappointed. ”

“ We had 4 different entrees (chicken corn soup, chicken satay skews, garlic butter prawns) all 4 items were so delicious. And we had 3 main courses fried rice Nasi goreng, and buttermilk chicken. “ Since moving to Mackay, I have been desperately searching for great asian cuisine. I must admit I was unsure of this place when I arrived but let me tell you it doesn't disappoint. Along with my partner and brother we decided to try a few dishes and a starter. We haven't found a bbq pork joint yet and found this place had it. The entree was good very small but flavourful, we also had the buttermilk chicken (highlt recommend!), Mongolian Beef (super delish with a hint of spice, perfect ), sweet and sour pork (banger!) And the dried rice with extra steamed rice on the side. Blown away by the food. Portion sizes are good and well worth the prices. We look forward to trying the banquet next round. Thank you to the staff who were amazing and made us feel welcomed. We will definitely be visiting many more times. Yum!!! ”
